Refund and Returns Policy

At Seed Beej, we always aim to provide high-quality seeds, plants, and gardening products to our customers.
All items are thoroughly checked before dispatch.
Please review our refund and return guidelines below.


1. No Return & No Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our products including seeds, live plants, soil mixes, fertilizers, pesticides, and gardening supplies, we do not accept returns or offer refunds once an order has been delivered.

This policy exists because:

  • Seeds and plants are perishable products
  • Germination and plant health depend on external growing conditions
  • Products cannot be resold once opened or handled
  • Improper storage, watering, transplanting, or environmental exposure after delivery may affect product condition
  • Returned items may become contaminated or damaged

However, we do support customers in genuine cases of:

βœ” Wrong product received
βœ” Damaged product received
βœ” Missing item in parcel

Approved cases may qualify for replacement or store adjustment only. Refunds are generally not applicable.


2. Live Plants Claim Policy (Important)

Live plants are highly sensitive products and their condition can change quickly after delivery depending on handling, watering, sunlight, temperature, repotting, or transplanting.

Therefore, any issue regarding:

  • damaged plant
  • unhealthy plant
  • broken stems/leaves
  • incorrect plant received

must be reported within 6 HOURS of delivery.

To qualify for review, customer must provide:

  • clear unboxing video recorded before opening the parcel
  • parcel label clearly visible
  • clear photos/videos of the plant condition

Claims reported after 6 hours may not be accepted because plant condition cannot be verified once the plant has been handled, watered, repotted, transplanted, or exposed to different environmental conditions.

Minor shipping stress such as:

  • slight yellow leaves
  • soft leaves
  • soil movement
  • temporary drooping

is considered normal for live plants during transit.


3. Replacement Eligibility For Other Products

For non-living items such as:

  • seeds
  • pots
  • tools
  • fertilizers
  • sprays
  • gardening accessories

any missing, damaged, or incorrect item claim must be reported within 24 HOURS of delivery.

Customer must provide:

  • order number
  • clear unboxing video
  • parcel label
  • clear issue photos/videos

Claims without proper unboxing video proof may not qualify for replacement.

After verification:

4. Germination & Growth Disclaimer

We do not guarantee:

  • germination percentage
  • plant growth speed
  • flowering or fruiting
  • crop yield
  • plant survival after transplant

because these depend on factors outside our control, including:

  • climate and weather
  • watering practices
  • soil quality
  • sunlight exposure
  • fertilizer usage
  • pests and diseases
  • overall plant care

However:

βœ” Seeds are checked and tested before packing
βœ” Products are quality checked before dispatch
βœ” Proper packing standards are maintained


5. Damaged Parcel Policy

If a parcel appears damaged during delivery:

  • Record a proper unboxing video immediately
  • Take clear photos of parcel condition
  • Report the issue within the applicable claim window

We may coordinate with the courier company where necessary and provide support accordingly.


6. Order Cancellation Policy

Orders may only be cancelled before dispatch.

Orders already shipped or handed over to the courier cannot be cancelled.


7. Strictly Non-Returnable Items

The following products are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Seeds
  • Bulbs
  • Live plants
  • Soil mixes / Potting mixes
  • Fertilizers
  • Pesticides / Sprays
  • Liquid products
  • Opened gardening supplies
  • Used gardening tools/accessories

8. Important Customer Responsibility

Customers are requested to:

  • provide accurate shipping details
  • receive parcels on time
  • open parcels carefully
  • record proper unboxing videos
  • follow plant care instructions properly

Seed Beej is not responsible for damage caused after delivery due to improper handling, delayed opening, incorrect care, or environmental conditions.
